For the second consecutive year Corbis will be the exclusive media broadcast partner with the LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph in Charlottesville, Va. from June 7-9.

The Festival will feature exhibits and on-stage appearances by three “INsight” photographers -- Alex Webb, Stanley Greene and Donna Ferrato -- as well as exhibitions, outdoor projections, workshops and interviews over three days and nights. Historic downtown Charlottesville will be transformed into a living image gallery with photographs displayed environmentally in public areas, projected in storefront windows and on buildings, as well as a number of special exhibits in galleries.

“The LOOK3 festival is a significant event for photographers and for those who share a passion for the still image,” said Barak Ronen, senior vice president of media products at Corbis. “Corbis is committed to sharing the best photography across all genres and outlets, and as the exclusive media broadcast partner, our team onsite will capture events as they happen to create a global platform for creativity, inspiration and imaginative collaboration.”

“Corbis is a global leader in the visual community and shares our belief in the power of visual storytelling,” said Andrew Owen, managing director of LOOK3. “The goal of the partnership is to ensure that attendees and fans alike can experience the full breadth of work and opinions from LOOK3’s presenting photographers.”

Daily roundups, artists & masters talks and interviews with key personalities will be shared via social media outlets and available on the Look3 Blog, the Look3 Facebook profile, the Corbis blog and the Corbis Contributor YouTube channel. For more information, please visit the LOOK3 website.

LOOK3 seeks to create a widely accessible, immersive public arts experience that stimulates public appreciation for photography from around the world and fosters a creative exchange between established professionals, emerging artists, and the public.
