The Mega Agency, a new global media business, focused on delivering editorial images, is pleased to announce that David Ellis has been recruited as UK Sales Director.
David was previously Head of UK Sales for Splash News, which he joined in 2004, and latterly UK Media Sales Manager for Corbis, where he was in charge of overseeing sales strategies and increasing revenue.
Mega founder Kevin Smith said David was the perfect fit for the dynamic team he and CEO Tom Tramborg, formerly a senior director at Getty, are busy assembling ahead of launch.
“David knows the UK media world inside out and has great relationships with all the key players,” said Smith, who made Splash one of the most respected and recognized entertainment brands in the world.
“That knowledge and experience, coupled with David’s drive and enthusiasm, will be invaluable in making Mega the success we know it’s going to be.”
