The Copyright Alliance needs all image creators to help push the CASE Act – the bill to create a copyright small claims court for creators and small business owners – through Congress.
On May 1, the
Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement Act (CASE Act) of 2019 (H.R. 2426 and S. 1273) was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate.
Contact Your Representatives!
It is important that as many image creators and stock agents as possible contact their elected House and Senate representatives to let them know you support the CASE Act, and that you want them to show their support by co-sponsoring the bill.
It’s as simple as 1,2,3.
1 - Go here.
2 – Fill in your street address and zip code and click “Search.”
3 – A draft letter to your Senators and Congressperson has been prepared and is available for you to view. All you have to do is fill in your name and click send.
It’s that simple.
You may have sent letters and emails in the past. But every two years, if the bill doesn’t pass, it needs to be re-introduced, and we need to remind Congress how important this bill is. So, if you have sent a letter before, please send one again. And if you haven’t sent one before, NOW IS THE TIME TO DO SO.
In addition, all creators are invited to join the Copyright Alliance group in Washington, D.C. on July 18 to meet with members of Congress in support of the CASE Act. Creators from across the country will be coming to D.C. for this hugely important event. If you can make it, please RSVP to
