Huawei is using
photos created with a DSLR to promote their new P30 Smartphone Pro Camera rather than photos actually taken with the camera. This is the third time they have been caught using DSLR stock photos to promote the use of their smartphones. They seem to have no qualms about misrepresenting their products to the public and potential buyers.
The pictures show a magnified section of each image in an attempt to demonstrate the detail that will be possible from using the periscope 7x zoon lens on the phone.
Forbes magazine says that pictures actually taken with the P30 will probably be as good as the ones Huawei is showing, but we won’t know until we see some that are actually taken with this phone.
The camera will be released to the public in the next couple of weeks.
Here are links to some other stories that show more of the fake pictures.
