Photo Web site company Zenofolio has added a new feature to its offering: users can now add music to their sites. Another new feature is client ability to select and share favorite images. Both upgrades are a response to community demand, said the company.
Through a partnership with Triple Scoop Music, Zenofolio users can now add soundtracks to photo presentations. Music files can be selected to play when a visitor enters a photographer’s home page, views slideshows, or along with embedded slideshows on external Web sites.
Triple Scoop bills itself as the first and only music licensing service built specifically for professional photographers and videographers. All Zenofolio users have access to 50 TSM-represented songs free of charge, and additional music subscriptions are available for a fee that depends on the desired amount of tracks. Immediately available music collection themes include love and romance, family and friends, high energy, and celebrations and vacations.
Particularly useful for clients sorting through images is the new ability to create lists of favorite photos. Images can now be selected in multiples from the thumbnails page or when viewing large images one by one. Images can also be sorted using a drag-and-drop interface that keeps track of sequence—such as for a resulting slide show or virtual gallery.
