[/caption]Veer’s recent launch of Cherry, an exclusive rights-managed illustration collection, reflects what the company says is a trend toward a handcrafted visual aesthetic. The collection was developed by Veer’s Joe Newton, who said Cherry featured a variety of current, relevant and irresistibly commercial images.
Cherry includes works by prominent contemporary illustrators, such as Richard Downs, whose timely financial metaphor appears at left, Nick Dewar and Kirsten Ulve. Some of the artists are profiled in more detail on the Veer Web site.
Cherry spans popular subjects and themes, from business and education to travel and the environment. Veer’s broader illustration offering comprises nearly 60,000 works.
