Denver-based Thought Equity Motion has launched the Research Store, which the company says is the largest online library of long-form footage available for licensing. The company has also updated its search technology, integrating user ability to search video content by spoken word.
The Research Store offers over 75,000 hours of long-form editorial content from collections such as Universal Newsreels, NBC News, HBO Sports and others. In addition to the metadata accompanying each clip, the Though Equity search engine is equipped with word-recognition technology, which analyzes the audio content to deliver a broader and more precise set of results.
The store also offers custom section clipping, online previews and comping footage downloads. The content is priced per second, and high-resolution footage is available for immediate download after purchase.
