Photographer Mike Hipple took a photo that features the bottom half of a person standing on a Seattle sidewalk where embedded bronze footprints, created by sculptors Jack Mackie and Chuck Greening in 1979, symbolically portray the mambo. Hipple offered the image through age footstock in 1997. Mackie found out a decade later and eventually sued Hipple in 2008. The case has attracted media attention after Hipple appealed to Facebook friends for help financing his defence, reports PDN Pulse.
