London-based Science Photo Library has relaunched its Web site. According to the company, it wanted to build on its reputation as the leader in technical and medical imagery and show that the image library also excels in many other areas broadly characterized as “science.” The new site divides the 300,000-image SPL collection into seven categories: animals, environment, flowers, healthcare, history, science and technology, and space. The relaunch also marks the availability of the SPL motion offering, which offers science footage ranging from nanorobots to aerial cityscapes.
