Microstock price-comparison service SpiderPic has opened to the public this week after what it says was a successful private beta. The site compares prices of the same image sold at different Web sites, including iStockphoto, Fotolia, Dreamstime and five other micro sellers. The site remains in beta; using lightboxes requires signing up. TechCrunch and PhotoBusinessNews offer opinions on the service.
