Shutterstock has published an infographic that outlines some
Global Design Trends 2014
based on its more than 350 million all-time downloads and over 100 million of them in 2013.
Among the issues highlighted is that there is an increased demand for the “filtered” look. Searches for Instagram-esque imagery were up 661% in 2013. Searches for people in real-life settings were up 374%.
