Last May, Photolibrary commenced what its chief executive officer Glenn Parker referred to as a “drive into the editorial and press area of the stock image market.” The next step in this strategy: a new partnership with the European Pressphoto Agency. Under a long-term global agreement, Photolibrary will market the EPA newsphoto service of 1,000 daily images, along with an archive of over 2 million images. Photolibrary maintains offices in 14 countries. Parker called the partnership a significant step forward and a completion of Photolibrary’s image offering.
