Munich-based PantherMedia, which has just crossed the 1-millionth-image benchmark, is inviting photographers to participate in its newly introduced microstock and opt-in subscription offerings. The subscription model is based on credits spent per day, as opposed to the more common image downloads—a provision well received by Panther’s existing contributors, 95% of which opted into what is typically an unpopular offering among microstock shooters.
PantherMedia says it is the leading German microstock. It offers photographer commissions of 30% or 50%, differing based on exclusivity. Its price point is $1.90 to $4.90 per image, depending on file size. Additional information for interested contributors is available on the PantherMedia Web site.
