The Mary Evans Picture
Library announced a new partnership with the Museum of the City of New York.
The first images offered online by the British historical specialist are prints
of New York between 1890 and 1942, where the key themes are trade, finance,
industry, transport, leisure and the rise of the famous NY skyline. Paul Brown,
managing director of Mary Evans Picture Library, said: “Despite being a U.K.
company, our aim is to continue to build our offering of global historical
subjects; adding the museum’s photographs to our library brings us one step
further.”
