Major Publishers Adopt PLUS Standards

McGraw Hill, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Pearson are adopting the Picture Licensing Universal System, according to company representatives attending the recent conference of the Picture Archive Council of America. The three publishers will use PLUS glossary definitions in their contracts and encourage image suppliers to embed PLUS license metadata in all images within a year.
