Only 7% of U.K. residents say using camera phones has heightened their interest in photography, and only 21% believe a camera phone to be sufficient for photographic needs.
So the iPhone will not be taking market share, but traditionals should not rejoice. The same survey found that nearly a third of the population owns an SLR (28%). Something like 10% of the population have considered a career in photography and would submit images to online microstock outlets.
