Cambridge-based Imense, which produces image-recognition and other software, has updated its Annotator keywording platform.
New features include the ability to prioritize keywording using drag-and-drop functionality, an IPTC/XMP core embed function that allows exporting keywords from Annotator and embedding them into corresponding high-resolution images, and an export function that works with Alamy’s keyword fields. Annotator also supports Getty Images, Corbis and age footstock keyword formats.
Available by subscription, Annotator Pro promises to reduce keywording time by 75%. Annotator Agency, a step up from an individual package, offers a set of enterprise-level tools, including multiple logins, the ability to customize associative and controlled vocabularies with specialist content and a higher image limit.
