Growing European stock-footage business Framepool now represents content by the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation Österreichischer Rundfunk and Agence France-Presse.
ORF material includes landscape, news, cultural and historical footage dating back to the 1950s. According to Framepool, ORF is among the most important television content providers in the global market. The company owns three television channels, as well as three national and nine regional radio stations. ORF is also the largest cooperative member of Austria Presse Agentur.
AFP content includes the production of over 40 international video units, which offer around-the-clock news coverage in multiple languages. The agreement between AFP and Framepool covers archival, current and future material. The archive comprises tens of thousands of news videos, starting with the turn of this century. Primary focus areas include politics, economics, society, culture, lifestyle, trends, sports and fashion.
