The 2016 DMLA Annual Conference (
http://digitalmedialicensing.org/conference.shtml) will return to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jersey City, October 27-29. Registration fees are due to go up on September 1st, but the deadline for the discounted rate has been extended to September 9th for those who use the promo code
DMLA16.
This year’s program will cover:
- emerging trends in the industry;
- legal issues affecting our businesses;
- advances in technology that will significantly impact profitability.
A new feature of the two-day program will be ‘DMLA Talks,’ short one-person focused presentations. To view the entire program schedule click

This year’s Keynote Speaker will be
Amy Jun Liang, CEO of Visual China Group (VCG). Since their purchase of Corbis earlier this year the industry has been focused on VCG’s plans and next moves. Amy will discuss their strategy and how business has changed in China.
For those looking for a place to network and demo during the conference, there will be a limited number of meeting tables that include power and WiFi access. The tables will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis so if you’re interested make reservations early.
Adobe will be this year’s PLATINUM sponsor. They will not only be supporting the Conference, but also providing beverages at the DMLA Opening Reception held in conjunction with
Visual Connections that takes place in New York on October 27th. Visual Connections is a great place to meet and network with both buyers and fellow attendees.
