Corbis has announced the addition of several prominent news and sports shooters to its contributor roster. The announcement was made during this year's Visa pour l'Image in Perpignan, France.
New additions include eight-time World Press Award winner Tim Clayton and Pulitzer Prize winner and four-time runner-up David Turnley; acclaimed sports photographers Elizabeth Kreutz and Steve Lipofsky; and photojournalists Noah Addis, Ricardo Ceppi, Brendan Hoffman, Sandy Huffaker, Trevor Snapp, Les Stone and Amy Sussman.
Corbis director of news, sports and entertainment Anil Ramchand says the company aims to strengthen its current events offering. Most of the newly signed photographers will be contributing on an ongoing basis, while several are also adding previous work to the Corbis archive. Imagery is now available through the Corbis current events and archival collections.
