BrightQube has updated its Web site with new tools and a redesigned home page. The latter no longer includes BrightQube’s mosaic interface, which now appears after the initial keyword search.
The principle remains the same: the mosaic displays all search results in a light-table-like continuous pattern, scrollable in every direction, and images can be previewed and purchased on the same page. New with this upgrade are pop-up tips that explain the interface’s various functions and can be closed without reloading the page.
Launched last year, BrightQube is located in San Diego and currently represents over 3 million images by more than 40 brands. The Web site mixes traditionally priced images, such as Juice, Ojo, Corbis RF and Getty Images’ Digital Vision, with microstock content from Dreamstime.
