The Bridgeman Art Library now represents the collection of The Sterling & Francine Clark Art Institute. The museum, established in 1955 in Massachusetts, now houses one of the largest collections of impressionist works in the U.S.—including French works by Degas, Monet, Pissarro and Renoir—and an equally impressive number of 19th century American paintings by such artists as Remington and Sargent. Over 200 images are currently available online. London-based BAL now also has access to The Clark’s prints, sculpture, porcelain and silver.
