Bigstock, a subsidiary of Shutterstock, has announced a new API program along with two world-class partners: CafePress Inc., The World's Customization Engine™, and Emma an email marketing provider. These partners will utilize Bigstock's recently released API to provide their customers with access to Bigstock's expansive library of professional, commercially licensable photographs and illustrations.

"Images are a core part of many products and services, and we are excited to help our partners deliver the best possible experience to their users," said Bigstock General Manager Ben Pfeifer. "Today is an important milestone for us, marking our commitment to reach new audiences through technology-driven partnerships," he added.

These partnerships will create seamless experiences for customers of both companies, allowing them to choose from millions of high-quality photos, vectors and illustrations as they shop for custom merchandise on CafePress, and create email campaigns using Emma. The integration also means greater exposure and revenue potential for Bigstock's thousands of contributors, delivering royalties to them each time an image is used.

"We are excited to integrate Bigstock's easy-to-use and powerful API with our platform," said Joe Schmidt, CafePress Chief Marketing Officer. "Bigstock has an incredible catalog of photos and illustrations, and this partnership will allow us to offer CafePress consumers an even broader selection of high-quality products."
