Adobe has released its latest 2019 Visual Trend report called
Brand Stand. The trend report explores consumers’ desire for companies that align themselves with important social issues and how brands like Nike and Gillette are driving this trend with high-impact creative that takes a stand.
This widespread trend has made its way into stock photography as well: In the past year, Adobe Stock has seen queries for “recycling” grow by 53 percent, “sustainability” up by 50 percent, and “social responsibility” increase by 43 percent, showing that more and more companies are searching for issue-forward images to include in their marketing campaigns.
