500px has also announced a collaboration with Adobe to introduce a select set of 500px images to Adobe Stock users within the
Adobe Stock Premium Collection.
Currently, there are around 100 million images in the 500px collection, but only about 3 million of them are available for licensing through the Marketplace collection. Most contributors to the 500px community want to share their best images with other photographers, expand their network, improve their skills and get tools to understand more about their photography as well as like the work of others and know that others like their work.
To date, about 20,000 of the Marketplace images have been selected for inclusion the the Adobe Stock Collection, but the Adobe team is currently working through the edits. It is unclear how many of the Marketplace images Adobe hopes to eventually add to the 500px Premium collection. So far a broad range of content has been included in the collection including: Lifestyle, Travel, Industry, Wildlife, Aerials and Cityscapes.
Prices for licensing the 500px Premium images are $499.99 for large files (roughly 4239 x 2736px) and $249.99 for small files (roughly 1716 x 1107px). Different companies have different licensing terms.

Adobe’s head of content, Scott Braut, remarks, “As we incorporate the best of 500px into Adobe Stock’s Premium collection, our creative community will gain access to a diverse showcase of images. In turn, the large network of 500px members will also now be able to reach millions of creative buyers through seamless and native integration between Adobe Stock and Adobe Creative Cloud.”
